Barcelona - Day 3

Tuesday

on the way to the station
Another day in Barcelona, another day train-hopping... Issy is getting VERY into all this travel...

Today we headed to Placa Catalunya, the very heart of Barcelona.

We took a walk along Las Ramblas.

Barcelona is just so beautiful... the architecture, the quirky little surprises around every corner.

The girls and I spent a lot of time at H&M (they had a sale on) while the men took Issy to feed pigeons in Placa Catalunya and they also managed to find a playground for her.  (Love the fact that Barcelona has so many little playgrounds, so child-friendly!)  We then met for lunch at La Bouqueria market.

the love for ice-cream runs deep in this child!

We wandered some more.

Grant, Paula and I went to find the hotel where we will meet our food tour tomorrow and stopped to have a drink at a nearby pub - I am struggling a lot with my post-Camino feet, so need regular rest stops.

Finally we headed home where we had sushi take-aways for dinner.
